At THE DECO DORM, we believe décor should never be boring. Whether you’re a cat parent, a dorm dweller, a home-body, or someone who just loves fun statement pieces, our blankets are made to spark joy, warmth, and a little bit of mischief.

Shipping & Delivery Policy – The Deco Dorm
When will my order arrive?
Every Deco Dorm product is made to order—crafted just for you once your order is placed. If you’ve ordered a personalized item, our design team begins working within 12 hours of purchase and then sends the design into production.
Please note: Production time is separate from shipping time.

📦 Estimated U.S. Shipping Time: 5–10 business days (excluding weekends). Orders shipping outside the continental U.S. (like Hawaii) may take a bit longer.
Where do orders ship from?
We partner with several trusted U.S.-based manufacturers, each specializing in different products. Your order may come from multiple production facilities to ensure the best quality and fastest turnaround.
Will all items ship together?
Not always. For example, woven blankets and candles are produced at different facilities, so your items may arrive in separate packages and on different days. Each shipment will include its own tracking number.
Customs and import fees
If you’re placing an international order, customs or tax fees may apply. These are determined by your local customs office and are not controlled by The Deco Dorm. We recommend checking with your local customs office for more information before placing your order.
Do you offer gift wrapping or messages?
Unfortunately, we currently can’t include custom gift messages or wrapping. We’re working closely with our production partners to offer this in the near future!
My order hasn’t arrived yet — what should I do?
Before contacting us, please try the following:
Check your shipping confirmation email for any address errors.
Contact your local post office to see if they’re holding your package.
Check with neighbors in case it was delivered to them by mistake.
If your package appears to be lost, please file a report with the shipping carrier, then contact us at thedecodorm@gmail.com with your order number so we can assist further.
Orders & Product Care
How do I wash my woven blanket?
Machine wash separately in cold water on a gentle cycle. Avoid washing with items that could snag the threads. Hang dry for best results.
How are The Deco Dorm products made?
All of our items—woven blankets, fleece throws, and other home goods—are individually crafted in the U.S. by our production partners. This made-to-order process helps reduce waste and maintain quality.
How can I track my order?
Once your order ships, you’ll receive a tracking link by email. For questions about tracking or shipment updates, please reach out to thedecodorm@gmail.com.
What if my item arrives damaged or incorrect?
We’re so sorry if this happens! Please email thedecodorm@gmail.com within 7 days of receiving your order. Include:
Photos of the damaged or incorrect item
Your order number
A brief description of the issue
We’ll review it right away and send a replacement or refund as soon as possible.
Refund & Return Policy
Can I return my order?
Because most of our products are custom-made, we typically can’t accept returns or exchanges unless the item you received is incorrect or defective. That said, we want you to love your purchase—so if something isn’t right, please email us at thedecodorm@gmail.com, and we’ll make it right.
Do you offer refunds?
Refunds are only issued for wrong or damaged items. If your order qualifies, please contact thedecodorm@gmail.com with photos of the issue, and we’ll process your refund promptly.
Can I cancel my order?
Orders begin production within 12 hours of being placed. Once production has started, we can’t guarantee cancellations.
We’re a small, independent team, and every order means a lot to us. Because many of our products are personalized, cancellations after production begins often result in costs we can’t recover. We truly appreciate your understanding and support!
Can I exchange for a different size or color?
At this time, we don’t offer exchanges. Please review the sizing charts on each product page before placing your order.
If your item was mislabeled or incorrect, email thedecodorm@gmail.com within 7 days of delivery with your order number and photos—we’ll replace or refund it immediately.
